Dear Students and Parents,
Thank you to all of our students, parents, volunteers, MFB board, and patrons!
The School of Midland Festival Ballet has successfully grown into a new and
exciting phase in its development. The new facilities enjoyed by students and
parents alike are only one facet of the changing face of MFB. Enrollment has
grown, the 2009-2010 Season saw an increase in attendance, and our Summer
Sessions were a unique and rewarding experience for young Permian Basin
dancers. Through it all our faculty maintains its commitment to quality dance
training.
All members of MFB’s faculty have professional experience and training. This
ensures that each instructor, whether teaching the tiniest dancers or the most
advanced students, uses a thoughtful individualized approach to dance education.
Each level will learn and grow as a class under the careful tutelage of teachers
who have themselves received top notch training.
The 2010-2011 Season will be filled with classics the community has come to
expect and a couple of new twists and turns as well! MFB continues to attract
renowned choreographers and guest artists to the Permian Basin. Not only is this
beneficial to our students, but enriches and broadens the artistic horizons of the
community that we share. It is our sincerest wish to cultivate a love of the arts in
audience members young and old and to
